OFFICE SPACE IS EXPENSIVE.

LET US PUT YOURS TO WORK FOR YOU.

In Round Rock, would you believe that a 2,821 sq. ft. office space costs $5,289/month? That’s insane! And that’s not including the necessary transition from empty square feet to a workable office, which would take a lot of planning and time—or a lot of money. Save yourself the trouble and just give Office Barn a call.

NEW TO ROUND ROCK?

Moving to a new city is a challenge, so we’ve attempted to help you adjust.

Below you’ll find links to some of the best resources in Round Rock. You’re welcome!

GETTING TO KNOW ROUND ROCK

In 1848, a blacksmith from Austin opened the newly hewn wooden doors of his shop to the unpopulated yet highly promising area we now know as Round Rock. The settlement was originally known as Bushy Creek, but in 1851, the postmaster Thomas C. Oatts, rather an expert in unfortunate names, petitioned for a new title for the town.

Oatts and his friend Harrell had often fished from a huge limestone chunk that loomed over the bank’s edge. In memory of the fond times they’d had reeling crappie in, Oatts decided to name the town Round Rock.

Texas as a whole was growing in the late 1800s as train tracks began to struggle through the hitherto unsurpassable wildernesses.

In 1876, the International Great Northern Railroad laid its tracks a few miles from Round Rock. The small settlement gravitated towards the tracks, and the promise of wealth and commerce that trains offered.

The Searchlight was Round Rock’s first newspaper, founded in 1879. Its high praise of the establishment drew still more people to the city. The Trinity Lutheran College opened in 1906, and students began trickling into the population. By 1980, Round Rock had 11,812 citizens. But by 1990, the town had increased to 30,923 people. Office Barn has enjoyed working with Round Rock businesses as the city has grown, and we look forward to seeing your office contribute to the charisma of this unique city.
