OFFICE SPACE IS EXPENSIVE.

LET US PUT YOURS TO WORK FOR YOU.

A 1,449 sq. ft. office space in Dallas, TX, costs about $1,207/mo. Although Kilgore office space isn’t the worst as far as expense goes, the bills start adding up once you stare at the blank walls and realize that your office won’t arrange itself. So, how do you create an office space that maximizes efficiency and pads the bottom line? There’s a lengthy answer, but the short one is, “You call us.”

NEW TO KILGORE?

Moving to a new city is almost always torturous, so we’ve attempted to make your transition a little sweeter.

In this section you’ll find links to city data and some of our favorite places in Kilgore. Enjoy!

KILGORE’S PAST

In 1872, the International-Great Northern Railroad carved its way through Texas, passing by plantations that had been settled before the Civil War. Constantine Buckley Kilgore sold the railroad company a 174-acre plot for a new town site along the railroad.

Kilgore had begun.

In 1873 the first post office was erected, and by 1880 the population was around 250. The town grew slowly, and by 1900 the town had a population of 1,000. And then came the Depression.

The fall of the ‘Cotton King’, the collapse of the entire nation…both hit Kilgore at the same time. It looked like the end of the little town. Businesses were forced to close as civilians flocked out of the city in search of scarce opportunities in other towns.

What saved Kilgore from a pitiful expiration? Like a shining knight out of the gray gloom, the East Texas Oilfield announced itself to the world, and within days Kilgore was transformed. No longer was the town reliant on a weakening cotton economy; it became an enormous boomtown, home to oil derricks and wells all over even the town itself. Kilgore soon had no choice; it incorporated and became the City of Kilgore in 1931 to attempt to deal with the thousands that came to harvest the ‘black gold’.

By the 1960s, the population had evened out, and Kilgore gained a little stability. By 2000 the population had reached 11,301. Today Kilgore is a prosperous city, whose economy has oil companies, railroads, and the Kilgore College to boast of. Office Barn is ready and proud to assist Kilgore businesses with our products and services.
