OFFICE SPACE IS EXPENSIVE.
LET US PUT YOURS TO WORK FOR YOU.
A 3,168 sq. ft. office space in Denton, TX, costs about $4,488/mo. Denton office space is cherished by businessmen who dearly hope the space will be worth every dearly paid penny. Once they arrive at the new office, and stare at the blank walls, blank floors, and the forbiddingly enormous pile of junk from their old offices, they begin to wonder how it will all fit together to become the perfect, thought-inspiring office space they’ve always wanted. If you are in that predicament yourself, fear not! Office Barn has a simple, two-word answer: “Call us.”

CITY INFO
DENTON, A BRIEF HISTORY
Denton’s purpose was planned on the day of its birth. It was created for one reason only; the people of Denton County needed a county seat in a convenient spot. In 1857 Hiram Cisco, William Woodruff, and William Loving donated 100 acres in the center of Denton County for what would one day become the City of Denton.
Denton was incorporated in 1866 and J.B. Sawyer was established as the first mayor of the town. In 1870, the town consisted of 361 civilians. The growth rate increased slowly until the 1800’s. Then it exploded, doubling, tripling itself until Denton didn’t half-know where the sleepy little county seat had gone and why this new, bustling town was here. The reason for this unprecedented growth was a rail outlet in Denton, provided by the Texas and Pacific Railway. Other main railroads coasted through Texas in this time, bringing growth and increased diversity of economy to all the settlements.
Denton’s growth was also furthered by its status as the county seat, but another huge factor in population growth was the North Texas Normal College (now the University of North Texas), established in 1890, which made Denton a college town as well. A second college in 1903, now known as Texas Woman’s University, helped in creating the Denton culture the world recognizes today. In the 1980’s, almost 25,000 students were enrolled in both colleges. Over half of Denton’s population was the student bodies.
Denton’s neighboring metropolises, Dallas and Fort Worth, have helped its population and economy increase and prosper. Today, the thousands of people visiting the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport are often closer to Denton than they are to Dallas or Fort Worth.
Overall, Denton has grown to be much more than just a county seat. It is the City of Denton, a college town, a compatriot to two of the largest cities in Texas. It is your home. And it is ours, too. Office Barn is ready to serve the Denton community, and we’re ready to help your office get the furniture it needs.
