LET US PUT YOURS TO WORK FOR YOU.

A 1,628 sq. ft. office space in Beaumont, TX, costs about $2,000/mo. That’s a lot of money for an empty room. So, how do you turn every square foot of the space you’re paying for into an office space without paying way too much? Answer: Call Office Barn.

NEW TO BEAUMONT?

Moving to a new city is hard, so we’ve tried to make your transition a little more convenient.

Below you’ll find links to city data and some of our favorite places in Beaumont. You’re welcome!

GETTING TO KNOW BEAUMONT

Noah and Nancy Tevis settled on the banks of the Neches River in 1824, and their farm became the hub of the settlement that would one day become Beaumont. Beaumont became a town in 1838.

The town relied on agriculture in the early years, but by the 1900s there were several railroads chugging through the area, including the Southern Pacific, Kansas City Southern, Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe, and Missouri Pacific railroads. Commerce was revolutionized by the giant oil reservoir known as Spindletop in 1901.

Oil brought lots of people to Beaumont; by 1910, the population was 20,640. The origins of many of the oil companies we know today, including Texaco and Exxon, were those years of plenty in Beaumont.

When Spindletop erupted again in 1925, it was ridiculous how the population boomed. In 1930, the population was 57,732. Towards the tail end of the oil boom, World War II kept Beaumont in business with shipbuilding and oil refining businesses.

With every population outburst, there is always a slight regression after a few decades, and Beaumont is experiencing some of those declining effects to this day. However, the city still stands: a proud landmark in Texas history. At Office Barn, we work with a lot of different businesses from a lot of different places, but working with your office and your city is what we look forward to the most.
