All of our safes have U.L. Listed Type 1 electronic locks. U.L Listed gun safe locks are easy to use, cannot be tampered with or hot wired and are easy to use in low lit areas. We also have manual locks available.

Our external hinges provide more protection for your gun safe design. Unlike internal hinges, external hinges do not compromise safe integrity in a fire by keeping most of the heat outside of the safe. Our external hinges are also designed to be as good, or better than internal hinges against theft, due to door bolts that trigger if the hinges are sawed off.

Many factors impact the fire protection offered by a gun safe. The thickness of the steel walls, weight of the safe and internal lining help determine how well a gun safe is built to withstand fires. Our safes have heat activated door seals (intumescent) and one or more layers of fire rated sheetrock.
